Second Floor, Ladies Lingerie
Many women are under the somewhat mistaken assumption that totally nude is the best way to get your mans attention. "Somewhat mistaken" because there are many men that would argue that point. Don't misunderstand, nude is great and Playboy Magazine proves that every time a new edition hits the stands. However, if you were to ask 100 men their opinion you may be surprised at the responses. A woman dressed in lingerie can be very sexy. As a matter of fact, some men say that seeing them in lingerie can be more exciting and more of a turn-on then total nudity at times. Some say leaving a little something to the imagination makes them more interested in finding out about the rest of a woman, instead of everything just being "up front" right from the start. Actually if you take the time to think about it, the reasoning does make sense. A sexy woman has many layers, so to speak, and taking the time to get through all the layers can be very rewarding. Obviously, Playboy Magazine has known this for many, many years as is evident in the Playboy's Book of Lingerie editions. The first Book of Lingerie issue was in 1984 and it just continues to get better with every issue. There have been so many gorgeous women to grace the pages of these special editions and as usual, Playboy knows how to portray them all to your best advantage. If you have been considering starting a Playboy Collection, this is a great special edition category to explore. Or if you already collect Playboy's be sure to check out the Book of Lingerie as a great addition to your collection. You will not be disappointed. Labels: collector, playboy, playmates

Hot College Coeds a Distraction? You Bet!
Okay, college is supposed to be an institute of higher learning and unlike the rest of our educational years, it is not free. You have to pay for the privilege of attending classes and furthering your education. This sounds, if not exactly simple, at least attainable, right? Maybe not. Have you ever looked around a campus and noticed how many attractive women there are? Playboy Magazine has and they love to point them out in all of their glory inside the issues of Playboy's College Girls. As if there weren't already enough distractions with every day college life now these hot coeds can be seen around campus AND on the pages of Playboy. Beginning in 1983 Playboy featured Girls of the Pac 10, with so many gorgeous girls, there were barely enough pages to handle it. It just seems to get better with every special edition published. There have always been rumors floating around every college campus that Playboy had at one time run a survey of drinking and partying on campus and that a particular school was listed as number one. While Playboy has ranked party schools, it has only been three times, more for fun than anything else. Playboy listed the University of Wisconsin at Madison as the most permissive because they actually served beer in the student union. So, while most of the rated party schools rumors are not true and won't be found on the pages of Playboy's College Girls, you will find amazingly hot, gorgeous coeds that are single-handedly able to lower more GPA's than any other form of distraction on a college campus. Start your Playboy's College Girls collection today. Labels: collector, playboy, playmates

Those Voluptuous Vixens
You may not know this but at one time Playboy Magazine decided a little variety was in order for their Voluptuous Vixens special editions. It had always been full of the most beautiful and buxom (hence the name) women Playboy had to offer. Then they decided to try a little variation with the cup sizes of the women shown. While it was still popular, most reactions were along the lines of "If it ain't broke don't fix it", and the term voluptuous as it applies to the female form, means "having pleasing curves". Luckily for you Playboy listened. Playboy's Voluptuous Vixens with its amazing pictures of sexy, soft and ample-breasted women is enough to get even the most dignified gentleman's heart racing along with a very elevated blood pressure. If you have not already done so, you may want to consider starting a collection of these outstanding special editions. There are many woman featured that you know, as well as a few that you wish you did know. Playboy's Voluptuous Vixens IV includes the well-known Jennifer Lopez. The Voluptuous Vixens II includes such beauties as Shannon Malone and Adele Stevens. The Vixens February/March 2006 issues features Kimberly Williams Busting Out on its great cover. The June/July 2005 issue with Christi Shake invites you to take a wild ride with 20 sexy girls, which you will surely refer to as the best ride of your life. So, buckle up, sit back and enjoy the ride, over and over again. Labels: collector, playboy, playmates

The Playboy Magazine June 2000 edition has many gorgeous and notable women with its covers; such as Jane Seymour, Ursula Andress and Kim Basinger. While mentioning notable and beautiful women you wouldn't want to miss the September 2000 issue proclaiming Shari Belafonte Looking Good Naked on the cover. Slippery When Wet
The perfect recipe for fun is to simply add water and get wild. Playboy's Wet and Wild issues don't just follow the recipe, it takes first place every time. This is just one part of what makes Playboy's loyal followers come back time after time. And what a part it is; with dozens of pictures of some of the wettest and wildest women around. Playboy's unique style adds just the right amount "wild". The 1998 edition of Wet and Wild shows great pictures of the Texas Bikini Team, proving everything may just be bigger in Texas and they are definitely better. The 1994 issue of Wet and Wild will put a spell on you with their "Bewitching Water Babes" layout. The 2004 edition featuring playmate of the year, Christina Santiago, gives a completely new meaning to slippery and sexy. The 1987 issue of Playboy's Wet and Wild Women starts us out with over 112 pages of good, clean fun. This edition also includes Shannon Tweed, one of Hef's special ladies. Playboy's 2000 edition is like a double bonus, with the Awash With Passion edition showing Victoria Zdrok on the cover. In addition there is also Playboys Wet & Wild 2000 with the gorgeous Jenifer Rovero on the cover. So if you can't make up your mind, just get both copies. The best way to handle starting out your collection of Playboy's Wet and Wild editions is to jump right into the water and start from the beginning. You won't want to miss a thing. Playboy Special Editions: Nudes
Among some of the most popular Playboy Special Editions is the Playboy's College Girls series. Unlike the monthly magazine, these special editions feature only letters from readers, and captions for the pictures. These issues are a perfect addition to your collection, with some of the most beautiful young students in the United States featured. These models are generally chosen from the regular student population at American colleges and universities. For example, the 1983 Issue featured "Girls of the Pac 10." In the early years, this magazine was only published in the fall, around the beginning of the school year. Each year it includes a feature on students of an athletic conference. Of course, there is generally some controversy surrounding these issues. Recently, for example, the 2006 issue caused some controversy at Baylor University, who declared that associating with this magazine would be a violation of the school's code of conduct. Lucky for us, there are always brave young women willing to challenge the objectors, and pose for these wonderful special editions. Even from the beginning, Playboy has had its fair share of feminists protesting these issues at colleges and universities. In true Playboy style though, the early issues of College Girls had test devoted to detailing the feminist objections, and then refuting them. Add these Special Editions to your collection, as a part of Playboy history, and see just what the fuss was all about for yourself! Or you can simply purchase these to relive your college days in the dorm when you first saw the College Girls editions. Playboy: The Early Years
Playboy magazine was published first in 1953 (December). The first issue had no date, since Hef wasn't sure if there would even be a second issue. The centerfold for that first issue was Marilyn Monroe, a classic beauty. That issue sold out in weeks, and is still going strong, and still featuring superstars and some of the world's best known women like Pam Anderson, Drew Barrymore, and Madonna, just to name a few. The second issue of Playboy began the tradition of calling the model featured in the centerfold a Playmate of the Month (Ms. Monroe was "Sweetheart of the Month"). This pictorial includes nude photos, a poster, and a short bio on the model. At the end of each year, a Playmate of the Year is chosen. Why not add these early issues [http://store.justmensmags.com/plmabais195.html] from the fifties to your collection? It is now customary that a woman appear only one time as a Playmate, but in these early years, you will see that some were featured multiple times. For example, Janet Pilgrim appeared in July of '55, December of '55, and again in October of '56. She is tied with Marilyn Waltz (aka Margaret Scott) for the most appearances. In fact the only models to appear more than once as a Playmate were featured during the 1950's. These early issues feature many interesting articles of course, and photos that made history time and time again. No Playboy collection would be complete without these issues from the very early years. Labels: anna-nicole, carmen-electra, dvd, jenny-mccarthy, pamela-anderson, playboy, playmates
