Pamela Anderson - Still a Favorite Playmate
Pamela Denise Anderson was born in Canada in 1967 and her very normal beginnings couldn't have given a clue to the exceptional life she was going to lead.
Anderson was discovered in a crowd -literally. In 1989 Pamela Anderson was attending a football game with friends and her face was randomly shown on the screen. The crowd went wild and she was taken to the field and given an ovation. She happened to be wearing a t-shirt for a Canadian beer company and she was offered a modeling contract on the spot. Within a short period of time, Pamela Anderson was on a poster pitching the company's beer in every bar in Canada.
In 1989, Pamela modeled for Playboy magazine. The success she received form this one appearance made her make the decision to move to Los Angeles to continue her modeling and acting career. The move was a smart one and this savvy blonde landed a role on the hit sitcom "Home Improvement" as the Tool Time Girl and then she got a starring role and wildly successful "Baywatch". During this time Pamela Anderson was still modeling for Playboy Magazine.
She married and divorced Tommy Lee and for a time was known as Pamela Anderson Lee. They had two children and have remained friends to this day. She is currently wed to musician Kid Rock and is an outspoken activities for the rights of both animals and people, especially children's interest groups.
Pamela Anderson has garnered more Playboy covers than any other model in the history of the magazine and she is slated to be on the January 2007 issue. If you're a collector of Playboy magazine and all things Pamela Anderson, be sure and add this upcoming edition to your collection.
