Anna Nicole - Never a Dull Moment
Anna Nicole was born plain, old Vickie Lynn Hogan on November 28, 1967. Her humble beginnings gave no indication of the roller coaster ride that her life would be. She married young and had a son at 16 and was a divorcee and single mother before she was 20 years old.
In her early 20's, while working as an exotic dancer, she met Houston oilman and well known billionaire J. Howard Marshall and he financed her transformation into the Anna Nicole of today.
Her career really started to take off when she was photographed on the cover of March 1992 Playboy wearing a low-cut evening gown. She appeared in the subsequent May 1992 edition as the centerfold, using the name "Vicki Smith" and was chosen as Playmate of the Year.
Anna had married J. Howard Marshall in June 1994 when he was 89 years old and she was 26. Marshall passed away in August 1995 and Marshall's son took Anna to court and contested his father's will that left her billions of dollars. The lawsuit continued until it reached the supreme court in May 2006, Anna won the case 9-0.
Anna also appeared in numerous movies such as the Hudsucker Proxy and television roles. In 2002, she was given her own reality TV series, The Anna Nicole Show. The series focused on her daily life both professional and personal and the people around her. The show's debut was the highest rated show on the network, but critics blasted the show and ratings dropped with each successive week. The show was cancelled in February 2004, due to "creative differences," but is still found in reruns.
Anna is also famous for getting huge in physical size. She appeared at an awards show nearly 100LBS heavier and had previously stated her Playmate diet consisted of mashed potatoes and fried chicken. She became a spokesperson for "TrimSpa", a weightloss product and shed all her gained weight and emerged in full fighting form once again.
Anna made news again in June 2006 when she announced she was pregnant. The baby girl was born in September 2006 and three days later her now teenaged son Daniel passed away in her hospital room from a reaction to a mix of drugs including Zoloft, Lexapro, and methadone. There is currently legal wrangling over the paternity of her daughter and that remains to see how it will play out in court.
If you want to have a playmate in your collection that is guaranteed to never serve up a dull moment, add Anna Nicole to your Playboy collection.
