It's Not Too Late in the Summer to Get Wet & Wild

One of the most lighthearted publications that Playboy puts out is their Wet and Wild editions.

These are similar to the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit editions but with a lot more sass. These girls are clothed in everything from barely there lingerie to swimsuits; each and every one is soaking wet.

There are pictorials covering sudsy car washes, hot, sultry beaches and pool side scenes. All of them shot using high resolution photos that deliver the high quality photography making this nearly an art form. There are a huge number of pictorials in each edition of this series and it is also available on DVD.

If you are looking to start a collection of the Wet and Wild series, it has been published yearly since 1987 and if you have just started your collection with the newer editions you can fill in your collection with the older editions easily by getting them from Just Mens Mags.

Collect Playboy's Foreign Editions

Sometimes it's fun to see the offerings of other countries. Commercials, television shows and even magazines such as Playboy Foreign Editions can be very interesting.

A really fun way to start a Playboy collection is to collect issues from a country that your family hails from. If you're of Italian heritage, collect the Italian editions of Playboy, ditto for Spain, Mexico or the Netherlands.

Some collectors don't have a particular country they collect, they collect specific models. If you're a collector with a collection of Pamela Anderson issues, you already know she's been on the cover of eleven American issues of the magazine, what you may not know is Pamela has graced the cover of several foreign editions including the Czech issues from May 2004. Many times shots that are not used in the American editions of the magazine are used in the foreign editions so you're not just getting a Playboy with a recycled cover.

If you have someone who is an avid Playboy collector, find out if they enjoy collecting specific models or just by year and pick them up a few foreign editions of the magazine. They make great gifts and you just may be jump starting someone's Playboy collection or taking it in a whole new direction.
